Sweet Faces at The Old Parsonage

A few years ago my DH talked me into collecting these sweet Santa mugs. We'd been seeing a lot of them whenever we went antiquing.

They are fairly inexpensive and and now I"m hooked!

Doesn't she have the sweetest face? She was surprise from DH one year!

And, well Rudolph, I spotted him this past summer and snatched him right up! So far I've baked Monday and Tuesday nights and have made over 200 cookies. I work until 5:30 so until we eat and get the kitchen cleaned up, I don't get started until after 7pm. My goal is 4 batches of easy cookies per night during the week then this weekend will be a non-stop "difficult" cookie and candy making marathon!

This week I'm joining Cindy from My Romantic Home

and Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for
Pink Saturday. I'd like to thank both women for hosting these wonderful days!

Enjoy!

Girl, you are a cookie-making machine!!! I just can't do it on work nights. I go to bed so early because I am up before 5 that all my baking is pretty much relegated to the weekends. But I don't have to make a whole lot so it is ok!

I loooove the Santa mugs! So vintage and wonderful!!!

It's funny, you see one and it doesn't have much impact, but your collection is an explosion of cuteness! I never would have thought to collect those, but they look adorable all together.

Thanks for sharing!

Oh LeAnn...
These sweet faces are just beautiful. I love them, and like you said this is not a real expensive thing to collect. You can find them at a fairly reasonable price. I had never thought of collecting these little cups, and over the years growing up how many I received and tossed them out.

I so love them. Now the cookie making business. Oh my gosh, what on earth are you going to do with all these cookies? You mus have one heck of a large family, or you give a lot of cookies (love from yourself) at the holidays.

Hsve a beautiful day sweetie. Stop by and say hi. I so love the company. Country hugs, Sherry

What a wonderful collection I used to have one when I was a little girl. Hot Cocoa tastes much better in a Santa mug. Merry Christmas ~Blessings Heather :D

Leeann, I haven't seen so many mugs in many years. They were once all the rage for everyone. Very trendy. That is a cute collection. And the kids and even the big kids below look to be having a blast with those cookies. What fun. Hope they all helped clean up! Hugs, Mollye
