Bathroom Makover

I just remembered that I promised to show you the bathroom make over that Mr OP literally finished at 3pm Christmas Eve. It was the best Christmas present. The bathroom (only one that we have) had been in a state of makeover for over a year.

After ripping the wallpaper off the walls we discovered some water damage from the way that the tub was angled. It took awhile for Mr OP to figure out how to fix it without totally ripping everything out and starting from scratch. As this was supposed to be a quick makeover with the work being done mostly by me it went on Mr OP's to do list and took a back seat to other projects that were already in the works.

I love how it turned out, although the color was supposed to be grey - it looks almost blue at times. But I'm not complaining, no way I am so thankful that it's finished. See my new Bath and Body works stress relief body wash and bath salts? They were such a thoughtful gift from Flyboy and LBB for Christmas. I love my tubby time and the smell is wonderful. They even got me lotion to round out the sent - love it!

So do you like to soak in the tub?

Hi Leann!

Oh how purty! Love the color! Would you believe my bathroom is under going a makeover too, for well over a year now. Waiting for hubby to finish the painting, then wallpaper. I might just have to learn to do it myself. lol Just finished baking oatmeal cookies. Now it's time for some tea to go with them. :)

Hugs,
Debbie

That color is so soothing and relaxing. It all looks great!

(We have only one bathroom and, if I had a chance, that's one thing that I would change about this house. It makes it a challenge to be doing work on the only bathroom in the house.)

I really like how the bathroom turned out. It's a very nice, clean colour. Great job!!

I do love my tubby time. I don't get it very often but when I'm in, I really appreciate it. ;)

Thank you for showing us the wonderful accomplishment!!! Super gift, I'm sure. :-)

Nope, to your question. I never take a tub bath. Just showers.

Beautiful! I rarely soak in the tub... That's my husbands domain. I'm a quick in the shower kind of gal.

Yes, I love to soak in the tub and I would like it even better if I had some of that B&BW stress relief! How wonderful and what a thoughtful gift!

I'm so glad you have a bathroom again, hehe. I love the paint color! It does seem like a blue-grey color but I think it's beautiful Leann!
