I didn't really think that I would be completely gone from this little blog while the kids were home, but we tried to cram so much into the short time we had together. Our Christmas season was wonderful. Christmas Eve was a party at my parents. The house was full of aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, brothers, sister and nieces and nephews. It was great to celebrate with everyone!
Christmas was a little different. This was the first time in 26 years that we were alone Christmas morning. Flyboy and LBB stayed over at her parents and then came over later for brunch. We had a another great day. This year we did very little gifts and focused on what really matters .

Monday was a day of cooking and cleaning in anticipation of Tuesday's arrival of our Texan's! I made 2 turkey breasts, meatballs and sausage, baked ziti, potato salad, broccoli salad and fruit salad. I knew that once they were home we'd have a ton of company. The house was hopping by the time Tuesday night rolled around. I completely forgot about snapping photo's on Christmas Eve and Day so I'm glad that my Mum snapped a photo of me and our Little Brides to Be. I love these girls like they were my own children.
I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season filled with love. Thanks you so much for you kind words and friendship this year. I truly feel blessed to have friends like you!
May 2012 bring you health and happiness my friends... Happy New Year!

I hope it's a great year for you. I was too busy over the holiday to get pictures of my family and especially those grandbabies! I know what you mean.
Thanks for blogging; I look forward to your posts.

Oh lovely, lovely photos!!!
Of course we all should concentrate on making-memories, at such times. Blogging can wait till after. And till the long stretch of cold Jan. and Feb., which is coming. :-)
Oh my Dear, please give us pictures around your beeeeeutiful kitchen, when it's convenient. I know I resonate with your decorating. (Look at the big, *floozy* old roses in wallpapers in both our homes!!!) -giggles-
And now! Those lovely RED bits I see, in your kitchen!!! Oh oh oh... Can't wait for more pics from your home. :-) When it is convenient.
I really, really think... (Watch out! I'm going into *worrying Auntie Mode* now! -grin-) think you should spend the first part of Jan.... JUST RESTING as much as possible.
Hu? Hu? What-cha-think? Hu? Possibly? Rest right after work, would be a goooooooooooooooood idea?
Posssssssssssssibly??????? :-)
Gentle hugs,

Leann--your Christmas sounds perfect...even the time alone and in quiet on Christmas morning! I know you were so well prepared and those that gathered were fed and cared for in a beautiful manner. Now you must be back to work. All the best in the new year!
Like Mary Poppins -- practically perfect in every way!
