Happy Rudolph Day everyone! It's the first one of the year and although some of you may not have all of your Christmas decorations down and put away from last year, it's time to start thinking and planning for this year. Remember doing a little planning, etc. every month will make it easier to enjoy this year's holiday. By the way, for those of you not familiar with Rudolph Day it's the 25th of each month.
I'm going to update my Christmas card list today. I'll need to update the addresses of those family and friends who have moved . This is a fairly easy thing to do on a Rudolph Day that falls during the work week. I'm also going to go back through our expenses and see how we did. I know that there's still money left in our Christmas cash stash so I know that we didn't go over budget.
I also made notes (things like gift ideas for next year, more lights on the tree, etc.) that need to be transferred to my Christmas Magic Notebook . The link in blue is to my Christmas Magic Notebook - it's the key to keeping me organized.
Wishing you my the joys of Christmas all through the year.

I am sure all this organizing you do makes the Christmas so much easier! I admire you!
I wish that I would actually do as you're suggesting. For one thing, I have thought it and if I wrote it down, I'd not have to think about it again. I could give my brain a rest. Also, I far prefer a calmer Christmas season.
This is such a good idea! Hope I can remember "Rudolph Day" each month this year! I'm one of those still putting things away, but I've been giving each item a good, hard look to see if I really like it enough to keep it. So far have 3 bags for the Humane Society's thrift store!
Updating the addresses sounds good too. xoxo
Oh my! Don't even want to think about plans for next Christmas. :-D
Oh my gosh, Leann! The first Rudolph Day of the year, and I didn't REMEMBER IT!!! Had plans to make Christmas tags this month, for next Christmas, so I guess I'd better git'er goin', huh?! Good idea to update my Christmas card list too though. I like that idea, and may try to do that too some night, or over the weekend! Thanks for the nudge!! ((hugs)) ~tina
Rudolph Who? Just kidding! What a good idea...you are so organized! Such a pretty book...your Christmas Book! Seriously..you and Tina 'Beansieleigh'are going to be so ahead and ready for Christmas 2012.
Are you sure it's not Rudolph Valentino Day, too?
Happy Rudolph day!! This is fun!
Hugs, Lisa
I don't know Rudolph day, but this year I'm going to do my best to take a page from your book! Organizing the list sounds like an excellent activity!
