Lovin' Feeling

I just finished Mr OP's Valentine. It's a big-un this year 9" x 9" and so full of fun. I'm glad that I started it early because I haven't been feeling too froggy this week (actually stayed home from work 2 days).

I'm still not 100% but I'm on the mend. We've got a birthday party this weekend for Logan (great nephew) - he'll be 5 on Sunday. There's nothing more fun than seeing the joy on a child's face is there?

Have you joined the Pinterest craze yet? I've been there for awhile, but haven't been too active. I've added my button to the sidebar if you'd like to follow me. Let me know if you have boards and I'll follow you right back.

Or, if you'd like an invitation to join, let me know and I'll send you one. Another fun thing that I've found on this wonderful world wide web and really like is My Craft Channel. They have a lot of fun tutorials for all kinds of crafts.

Is anyone doing anything special this weekend for Valentine's Day? Or will you wait until the 14th? We're just doing cards this year.

I may make something special for dinner on Sunday but nothing too extravagant just some good home cookin'. I'll have to see what looks good in the Pioneer Woman cookbook this week or go for one of his favorites

.

Fried chicken sounds good doesn't it? Mr OP sure does love fried chicken with mashed potatoes, string beans and corn bread. That sounds like the way to my man's heart.

I took a little liberty with my quote from Emily Bronte for the inside of Mr OP's Valentine. I don't think that she'd mind do you?

My apologies to Beverly ...I forgot to send you over to visit our hostess for Pink Saturday. So if you haven't visited yet, what are you waiting for?@

What a lot of love and thought go into a card like this. I bought my card at the dollar store. I will work on writing a love letter, though. It's the very least I can do. Oh and a good supper...perhaps a steak supper that night and strawberry shortcake for dessert. See how nicely my plans come together when I think about it.

I'd join Pinterest if I could...I don't have or want a Facebook account and they are linked. One can't have a Pinterest account without a FB account. Strange, but true. It doesn't prevent me from visiting for ideas, though.

Your Valentine is so pretty. It reminds me of the antique Valentines that are so rare today.

Oh, very pretty card, Leann. Nice job! Nope, no plans here but I bought a nice card. (Also sent out about 20!) We'll have to see what we can do to celebrate as the day draws closer. Susan

The valentine is very pretty! The fried chicken dinner sounds so good. I have not joined Pinterest - yet. I spend way to much time on the computer now, but may cave in later on.:D
Sorry you have been under the weather - lots of stuff going around out there. Enjoy your weekend.

I'm the slightest tad envious of you that you are so ahead of me! I lost the Valentine I made Rick and I'm in the midst of making his gift, but we're going away this weekend! I may feel the vapors come on Monday morning! Lovely!

Happy Pink Saturday LeAnn Sweetie...
I love this share. How romantic to make your own cards. Yours looks so elegant. I love that old time look that you gave it. I can't wait to see yours that he makes for you. Don't forget to share with us.

When I asked my honey what he wanted me to cook for him for Valentine's Day, he also asked for fried chicken. We are good old country kids when it comes to cooking. Happy to hear that someone else loves corn bread as well as me.

A beautiful share sweet friend. Have a gorgeous weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
