A few weeks ago on an impromptu junquing trip with Mr OP, I spotted this cool mirror hanging on a wall in the waaaay back of the shop. It's perfect for our foyer. As you can see the wallpaper is rather dark in that room, so I decided to use mirrors as a way to reflect light and brighten things some.
The detail is beautiful. It's also really heavy, so Mr OP had to hang it with a molly bolt (I think that's how you spell it). It makes me smile every time I walk by. Ahh...the little things!
I've been hankering for spring and my roses. Since it will be a few months before they show up, I went back in my photo files to share some of their beauty now.
The spring time weather is coming tomorrow - we're supposed to get into the 60's tomorrow and Thursday - LOVE it! Who knows what that kind of weather will inspire us to do here at The Old Parsonage. What are you looking forward to this spring?

Looks like the mirror is perfect for that spot!
Gonna be up in the 70's here tomorrow and wouldn't you know it... last week I volunteered to be at the school tomorrow. Darn! I hope that nice weather sticks around long enough for me to enjoy it, hehe.
Have a wonderful day enjoying the beautiful weather~
The mirror is to die for!! Love your wall paper too!

Your roses are beautiful - Thanks for sharing them.
Looking forward to flowers, nice temps, but NOT the storms.
LeAnn,
You're so lucky to get 60 degree weather. We're still in the 50's here in WA State (if we're lucky). I love the closeup of your roses pic...When I see little buds on the trees and plants my heart skips a beat:)Have a great day!
Spring is definitely here already. And I think I'll look forward to sitting on the porch--after the pollen is gone away.
What a beautiful mirror and foyer! I look forward to spring as the time when the glove/coat barrel disappears from my foyer and all that are left are sandals!
Leann,
That is such a pretty mirror...I love that style of frame...and the roses...GORGEOUS!!
