April Showers bring May Flowers and more Birthdays

My brother in law Scott and my MIL have back to back birthdays next week. It's always more difficult for me to create masculine cards than feminine ones. But I really like how Scott's birthday card turned out. I've found many uses for corrugated cardboard lately and love it!

Inspiration for my MIL's card came soo much easier. A few years ago all the kids decided to give her lawn service as combo birthday, Mother's Day and Christmas gift. She was not happy in the beginning, but soon came to realize that it was the perfect gift. Especially when it's hot and humid in the summer and all she has to do is walk outside and look at how great her lawn looks.

My friend April's birthday is also in  - surprise April. But I won't show you her card or tell you about her gift just in case she happens by. I've been working on some other surprises for Mr OP's 50th - I'm hoping to share them with you sometime soon.

I've been watching Revenge on-line from the beginning and LOVE it! Is anyone else a fan?

WELL HELLO! I wanted to say thank you for your (always encouraging) sweet comments. YOu are so kind. I wish we lived closer so we could actually visit, laugh, tell funny stories. We have been so busy with our kids, but its been good, I'm exhausted...had to take a day just to catch up on bills (and blogging) hahaha.
Have a blessed day my friend.

Revenge? Online? Hmmm... I did watch PBS's Little Dorrit today.

Your cards are great. I don't make cards, though I'm sure it would be more of a challenge to make them for men.

Ohhh, I think a lawn service is a tremendous idea. She just needed something a little more personal to go along with it. Just a little something. =D

Nope, have not watched 'Revenged.' Nor am I watching the witchy one which follows 'Vampire Diaries.' IT looked too way-out-there. Like it would be a typically wrong view of Paganism and etc. Which I don't like.

But, like I said, I didn't watch it, so I should not make assumptions. What is it.... "The Secret Circle" perhaps?

I read the book of that one, about twins, separated at birth. Watched a couple of the shows, but it veered away from the book, and I didn't keep watching it either. (One twin lived in poverty and the other twin, in luxury... And they switch... That one. Not "Switched at Birth" which I have never watched.)

Both of these are beautiful cards! I agree Men are much harder to make for too. Love the lawn service idea.

Beautiful! I've never watched Revenge. Maybe I'll get caught up with it on Hulu or something...
