Easter's on it's Way

Slowly but surely I've been adding to our Easter decorations. I bought the sweet, vintage little girl and rabbit paper mache egg in Zionsville this past Saturday. The weather has turned cold again this week - going down into the 20's tonight. Brr...

We having Easter dinner here although I'm still not sure who's all coming. We'll do a ham and a turkey breast for the main course with roasted kielbasa. I'm making home made potato pirogi, potato salad, pickled red beets and eggs, coleslaw, roasted asparagus, white shoe peg corn,  fresh peas, and green bean casserole. I'm looking to add one or two new recipes so if anyone has any favorites let me know.

I haven't decided on appetizers yet, but desserts usually include a cheese cake, pies and home made candy. I'm open to some new desserts too, so bring them on!

We like to eat our meal right after church early in the afternoon. That way it's still early when it's time to clean up. Then we usually have dessert for supper:) Mmm... talking about all this food is making me hungry.

It's too late eat anything now, but I sure could go for something (I'll be good). I'm down one size since my whole fibro thing started in September which is actually one of the good things that's happened. It's coming off slowly but just this past week I had on pants that I haven't worn in a few years! Yeah!!!

I'll be by to visit you all tomorrow and Wednesday (at least that's the plan). Enjoy your week sweet friends!

Precious vintage decorations.

Wow, you do go all out, for Easter Dinner. Are you sure you want to do all that work, my Dear? It sounds enough for an Army. :-)

Oh and I will take a pic of the good G/F Waffles package and send it to you, in email. That's better than just saying it. I do hope you can get them, in your area. And that you like them also.

Hooray for the lose pants!!!!!!!!

Cute finds from Zionsville! You have the best holiday decor! I"m thinking I should just add a few eggs to my Christmas tree since it's still up!

Wow Leann. Everything sounds wonderful. I know your guests must love to come to your house for the holidays. Your new eggs are so cute! Susan p.s. Thanks for all your visits and comments on my blog, too. Always love having you stop by.

Your Easter dinner sounds like spring to me. We sometimes do a Trifle for dessert because those can be made "springy," look pretty, and are easy.

Love your vintage look decorations. Did you see Graphics Fairy in the last few days. She showed how a gal had used her vintage images and created some nifty decorations.

That sounds awesome and what cute stuff!
We've got a load of company coming for Easter around here too and haven't even thought about what we're serving yet. They might just get some candy eggs and I'll call it good...
