Cool Stool Make-over
The table in my studio is an old engineer's drafting table. Some of you may remember, it was a Christmas gift from Mr OP 2 years ago. He had it hidden in pieces all over the house:) I find that I like to stand most of the time while I'm creating, so the table is perfect.
Although now that we have a laptop I blog from my studio now too. And, I prefer to blog sitting down. The stool I'm using was my Gram's. I was a little too uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time (we all know how much time can be lost when blogging), so I gave it a quick no-sew make over. I bought a round pillow form, put it on top of the stool and tied on a dresser scarf, then another the opposite way. Works for me! I want to eventually paint the stool and my table white, so this will be easy to take off and put back on.
Does anyone have any other no-sew ideas?

Cool stool cover, Leann. Great job! Glad it's more comfy sitting at the computer now, too. Susan
That's pretty clever!
So charming - perfectly good enough and yet still feminine, creative, and romantic.
Many years ago I added a carpet like toilet seat cover to an old stool to give it a little padding and to look a little better than the scruffy wood.
That is so adorable!!!
No sew! Purrrrrrfect!!!
Now.....
You posted this, before the NEW BLOGGER CRAP-O-LA was installed this morning/Thurs.
