Photo Editing Fun!

I finally had a few minutes to try the latest photo editing site that everyone is raving about - PicMonkey. Can I just tell you how easy and fast it is to use?! I liked picnik, but this site really does seem a lot faster to me.

I had a ball playing around with the different effects and they have a note on their home page that we'll soon be able to make collages - yeah! Great news for header photos!!!

I cut these lilacs from our bush in the side yard on Saturday and they still look and smell wonderful. The bush gets full light now that we took down the apple tree - or I should say after the hurricane took down the apple tree and we cleaned up the huge mess.

I made a mental note to take a bunch in to work tomorrow for Linda. She had to have her bush cut waaaay back and she didn't get any flowers this year. Maybe I should write myself a real note.

So, what photo editing programs do you use?

I love lilacs and the smell of them in the house. My bush didn't bloom this year either. We are thinking the Japanese beetles did a number on it last year.

I've been trying the one you describe and one similar but also you can make mosaics on it now, is iPiccy. Also quick and easy. The lilacs are beautiful!

Thanks for sharing your pretty lilacs. I will be checking into picmonkey. I have been using picasa and photobucket. Went to photobucket to work on some pics for a post and had a rude awakening. They have completely changed their editing format and it is really bad. Spent a lot of time and finally just gave up. Did some checking and they have gotten massive complaints. There was no prior notice, instructions - nothing. :(

On a Mac, I don't use any.

But would love to be able to make the edges of my photos... softer or something.

Will see if I can use this one, on a Mac. :-) To do something like that...

Beautiful lilacs, I can almost smell them! I use PicMonkey, iPiccy and a new one called FotoFlexer, not sure which one I like best yet.

Gorgeous!!!! I LOVE the smell of lilacs! But they don't love my husband. Apparently he tells me this year that he has trouble breathing when they're in bloom... Who knew?! Besides him of course.

Wow, Leann....We don't have any lilacs blooming yet. Tulips and pansies are out, though. Loved your photos. Susan
