What makes a Happy Home? I love to take care of my family. For me, creating a home that is warm and inviting, where everyone feels welcome is pure joy! The smell of fresh laundry just in off the clothesline, a neat and tidy home and garden, a good home cooked meal, a few desserts here and there, the love of family, friends and fellowship all help to make our home a Happy Home. Join me as we celebrate the holidays, the birthdays and the every days!

Waiting for the glue to dry...

I didn't get a chance to snap any photos this weekend, but I sure did manage to do a lot of other things. I decided to go to the market on Friday night instead of Saturday morning. The place was like a ghost town. Perfect for shopping in my opinion - no one leaving the cart in the middle of the isle and wandering off. It was clear sailing.

Mr OP went fishing with Roy on Saturday am, so I decided to change the living room around to make way for the A/C in the window in the coming months. I love to rearrange the furniture. When the boys were small and Mr OP worked second shift (3-11) I'd change the furniture a lot and even move from one bedroom to another. I only do it 2 times a year now, but I love the new look.

Now instead of changing the furniture around I am constantly changing up my knick knacks and such. It's fun to take things from one room and use them in another. It's great to take photos of your vignette's, that way you can pull out a re-run of something from years ago when you have "decorator's block."

I did all of the laundry on Saturday and hung the wash out to dry. Nothing like climbing into bed on sheets fresh off the line, the smell is wonderful! Our gardens are growing like crazy - the lilac bush has a ton of buds, the daffodils are blooming everywhere, the poppies and the bee balm are up but no buds yet.

Today Mr Op and I went to Renninger's Flea Market in Adamstown. The weather was iffy so there really wasn't a lot of outdoor vendors. I did manage to get a few things for crafting (remember I love to use vintage items in my handmade crafts). I'll share later this week.

Wondering about the title? I'm working on a little project and "waiting on the glue to dry," so I thought that I'd take the time to pop in and say hi.

Do you try to be creative with the titles of your posts?

Shopping, when the store is nearly empty! WONDERFUL!!! :-)

I try to be creative with the titles but not sure it matters - people mostly dive right in. I love your pics today.

Titles are very important as you know. I used to be more "artsy" with mine, but now try to be more clear with them so I can find things again.

Be careful moving that furniture around by yourself! (I wish that I still could move it around with ease.)

Like the title - I am waiting for some glue to dry here also. :-D
Know what you mean about the grocery store - the one I usually go to is nearly always like a zoo.
Have a great week.

Someday I hope to be able to decorate and not worry about some kid accidentally knocking one of my precious things off a table...
I guess I'll need to be an empty nester.
LOVELY!
And I try to come up with something clever for my titles. A lot are complete fails...
