Dark Shadows
Mr OP and I went to see Tim Burton's latest film - Dark Shadows 2 weeks ago. The reviews haven't been that great, but we decided to go anyway. You know me and vampire movies, as long as it's not blood and gore vampires, I'm in. The movie was entertaining. Not one of my favorites, but not a waste of a movie ticket either. And Johnny Depp? Well he sure is a great character actor!
We're really excited to see Snow White and the Huntsman. We'll probably wait until all the hub-bub calms down.

Hi Leann...Last weekend we saw The Very Exotic Marigold Hotel. WOW! I liked it very much. You get to see a lot of India in this very different film. That's good because, honestly, I would not want to travel there. The actors and actresses in that movie were all excellent and it was a very interesting story line. If it plays near you, go see it! I think you'd enjoy it. Susan
My son took me to the movies this afternoon to see Snow White and the Huntsman. I loved it, but then I am really loving the TV series Once Upon a Time too.
Vampire movies are just not my cup of tea. But I am a sinus to see the movie your first commenter named.
The last was War Horse. Didn't like it. I'll just read your reviews and save myself the ticket. =D
I saw "Dark Shadows" a few weeks back too. It was better than I expected it to be as I'm not much of a Tim Burton fan.
I'm going to see The Huntsman tonight. I'll let you know how I find it. :)

The Depp one sounds like a good Dollar theater flick tho!
Glad you liked it. I was disappointed
it was a comedy. I really enjoyed Dark Shadows and wanted a good remake.

Have not been to a movie in such a long time. They just have not made one I got too excited about. Glad you enjoyed this. It would not be my taste.
Hubby and I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It won't win any awards but I thought it was funny and Dep played the part perfectly.
I enjoyed the tv series too much to consider seeing a movie. There were Dark Shadows movies back in the day. I did save up my own money to see those.
I will probably wait for it to be free on DVD at the library.
