Box full of LOVE

I LOVE vintage (and new) candy boxes. They can come with a sweet surprise inside or be completely empty - my squeal of delight will be the same. If they're vintage enough I use them to decorate.

If not, they are fun to craft with! I have one of those sitting in my studio now just waiting for me to use lots of romantic embellishments and papers to give it that certain feel.

The weather is supposed to turn really cold this week with a chance of snow on Friday. I've got lots of cold weather crafts to keep me busy. Plus, some more comfort food planned to hit the crock pot.

Do you have any of these battery powered tea lights? I love them, they are really inexpensive and give off the same amount of light as a regular tea light. They had Mr OP fooled!

Hi Leann...Lovely decorations. Using candy boxes is a good idea!

You know, I have used the non-flame candles but also use regular candles. I know they are more dangerous but I still love them. Both are good, I think. Hope you have a wonderful day today. Susan

Thanks for reminding me that I do have some. Now where are they? I didn't find them in time for Christmas that's for sure.

I love beautifully decorated candy boxes, too. Very nice for Valentine's Day.

I have 3 heart shaped ones that I have had for several years, with good intentions of doing something with them someday. Yes - I use the tealights often.
