What makes a Happy Home? I love to take care of my family. For me, creating a home that is warm and inviting, where everyone feels welcome is pure joy! The smell of fresh laundry just in off the clothesline, a neat and tidy home and garden, a good home cooked meal, a few desserts here and there, the love of family, friends and fellowship all help to make our home a Happy Home. Join me as we celebrate the holidays, the birthdays and the every days!

Happy Valentine's Day

I'm giving Mr OP (2) books on tape from the Century Trilogy and bought him a chocolate bar. No chocolate covered pretzels, but I do have all the ingredients to whip some up this weekend. I did bake a raspberry chocolate cake  from Hershey's. That chocolate post from yesterday put me in the mood to make it!

I bought these "love birds" at our local dollar store and had all intentions of embellishing them with glitter, rhinestones and mini crowns, but haven't had the time to do it. They may be a project for this weekend too!

Wishing you all a day full of LOVE and HAPPINESS!

And a wonderful Valentine's Day to you, too, Leann.

I bought my hubs a bag of mini Snickers (his fave candy bar), some flowers and a scratch ticket in a pretty card. Unfortunately the ticket was a dud but at least I tried! ha!

I just know that you created a fantastic Valentine's Day for the one you love. Perhaps those little birds didn't want no sparkles. ☺
