If it's not going to snow...I'm ready for Spring

I'm sorry, but our local weather  people have really been off this winter. Every time they predict snow we only get trace amounts. If it's going to snow then it should be enough to make a difference. Not that I'm wishing for huge amounts mind you. Just enough to enjoy some cozy time at home.

I think that I'll take down my Valentine decor this week and get out my spring/Easter decorations. I haven't had time to take any new photos this week, plus the weather has been really dreary with hardly any sun at all  - these photos are from a few years ago. I did manipulate them in picmonkey though and they all look so
much better now.

I see a ton of new growth on our lilac bush and can't wait to bring in the cut blooms. Ever since we lost our apple tree 2 years ago, the lilacs have been wonderful.

We're busy planning a surprise shower for LBB. I'm soo excited
and can hardly contain myself whenever she's around! I'm still working on her recipe book full of "Flyboy's favorites," but that's all I have left to finish.

Are you ready for spring?

The "I Want Spring!!!" mode has not yet reached me. :-) Usually, I do get tired of winter, before it goes. Hope to hold that feeling off, as long as possible, though.

Leann,
Lilacs are a favorite of mine too! I also watch and look forward to the blooms each year.
Yes, so true...the weather forecasting has been "spot OFF" this year.
At least we are getting some peeps of sun now and then!

I too am so ready for flowers and sunshine. In the 30's today and dreary. Precip due to come in tonight, and suppose to get down to 29 - could make an interesting morning commute. Glad I don't have to get out.

I'm ready for Spring too! We've had a lot of rain this year, so I'm hoping it will be a good one. Thanks for your visit to my blog and your kind words. Have a great week! ~Lorraine ♥♥♥

After our wonderful, quick snow storm on the weekend, it's beginning to feel like spring here. Maybe because the daffodils have been blooming awhile. I know, though, that more winter could come. Seems the weatherman has been off quite a bit this year here too,
