Sunday's baby shower for Abbey was soo much fun! See the darling bibs and tee shirts hanging in front on the fireplace? Everyone had the chance to decorate one for the baby.
There were just so many cute ideas, everywhere that you looked. Isn't this a darling idea for a fruit display?
One of Abbey's friends who is due around the same time made this diaper cake for Henry. It's the best that I've ever seen! We told her that she should sell them.
April, the proud Oma (grandma in German) made this wonderful cake. It was so delicious! It was a three layer lemon cake with strawberry/blueberry and lemon curd filling! Can you say YUMM?!
Every photo that I took of Abbey you couldn't see her face, but notice the glow. She looks fabulous! Did you notice that she had a thin belt above her belly - cute?!
The maternity clothes that I had made me look like I was wearing a tent. Nothing was clingy or really fashionable like it is today, which made you look even bigger.
We played soo many fun games and laughed and laughed. It was wonderful to get together and celebrate this wonderful new life. It really was an Oh Henry moment!

Yes, we didn't wear the body hugging styles of today and they did make us look huge. Abby looks beautiful and her shower looks like a wonderful event for all. Hope that she got everything that she needs for Baby Henry. It looks as if there are a lot of folks Pinteresting! =D
